The 22ndMEU Meritocracy
I, as with all of our current leaders in the 22ndMEU, stay true to myself and faithful to our organization. We continue to build off of our member expectations, their candor, and trust along with their sustained self discipline that are inherited militarily and/or culturally. We run the 22ndMEU clan with absolute meritocracy, your current earned rank reflects your demonstrated and sustained performance, leadership qualities, respect and you have earned respect from other members included with your time of service with participation within your active duty for the clan. If a clan leader (HRO-high ranking officer E-9 to O-5) recommends a rank up for a member, it means that his performance of duties for the 22ndMEU clan are very much appreciated, noted, and will be brought before the board for rank up review for his sustained duty performance for the clan.
The board has to be 100% confirmed “Yes” on a promotion through our points system. If any misconduct reports are brought forth before the board, there will be a denied rank up status on a member, we will then fill out a scored FITREP on the member, with a note of reason, and send it per a PM. In simple terms, your candor, earned trust, active duty time, earned respect, and sustained participation and performance, dictates your progression of rank here. Just because a younger member out ranks you, remember, he has EARNED his rank by sustaining his performance of duty for the 22ndMEU.
As a thank you, and out of respect, we justify rank for our public service, military veterans or active duty members, age and maturity.
