The 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit clan is an American based BF2 Reality clan, and was formed in honor of the real-life Marine unit. Their official website can be found at USMC 22nd MEU (http://www.lejeune.usmc.mil/22ndmeu/)
As of 03.03.07 our MAR (minimum age requirement) is 15 years of age. READ OUR POLICY THREAD!
Our goal in the 22ndMEU clan is to gain and uphold the honor and respect from other BF2 clans, and our members. We try to represent the real-life 22nd MEU to the best of our ability on all servers.
We have been growing steadily since January 2006, and have had better success and building a stronger clan on mature members. Everyone loves the game, but you are probably tired (as were we) of getting “pwned” by yourself in-game. We have lots of laughs in the game, but in drills or scrims, we pull together as a team and watch each others back, just as in real-life. Our “in game” ratio''s have improved dramatically, and we strive to uphold the Marine excellence standard, nothing less.
We do NOT tolerate any disrespectfull in-game behavior such as “bunny-hopping”, "dolphin-diving”, "tea bagging" or hacking what so ever, and will enforce it! Immature acts will be an issue, we do NOT tolerate issues.
You will first have to register with your *REAL* last name, fill out an application to join, wait for a (Pending review) notice. Once you see a (Pending) status, you will need to get with one of our members in our Ventrilo Com server, get with a SNCO for an interview, and get setup to participate and pass our 1-hour basic BOOT camp program. After passing our BOOT [MCT-I], you will be granted the rank of Pvt, be awarded the [NDR]-National Defense ribbon, and you will be on a 2 week observation period to see if you are cut out to become one of us. We have a great group of young men that represent all of the 22ndMEU clan, active duty members, veteran members, and we are all proud and honored to be part of it. We hope to see you soon on the battlefield! We are not about competition leagues, but strive for achieving victory on the battlefield with our teamwork skills and tactics. We are not a full time competitive scrimming clan, we occasionally set up friendly scrims with other clans that know how to behave with mutual respect and honor.

It is not manditory to contribute to our clan fund. But we do have to pay for the servers we use, just a small amount helps us alot. Our paypal link on our homepage, goes directly into our clan account. A $10 amount from all members every 3 months would cover our servers annually. If you contribute $20, you get your very own spawn point and airstrip with the vehicles of your choice on our BF2 boot camp map! Your air strip will be coordinated/installed with Major Terry on our next updated version release. Our current version is 1.6. Thanks to all of you guys for pitching in!! Col Duff
